The Orange Developer Challenge final organized by Orange and SNCF took place on Monday, December 10th 2018..
16 teams competed on issues raised by SNCF’s operations and maintenance departments, also benefiting from Orange’s new LTE-M network.
INTESENS had the challenge of finding a solution for detecting the presence of calcite in tunnels.
To address the problem, our approach was to focus on the consequences of calcite formation: the overflow of water drainage pipes and the presence of water in so-called critical areas.
After a month of hard work, we won the Special Jury Prize!
We thank our teams for their excellent work, as well as Orange and SNCF for organizing this challenge .
