INTESENS designs and provides connected maintenance solutions for railway and industrial applications. These solutions aim to optimize maintenance operations on critical assets. This means increasing their availability, extending their service life and reducing their operating costs.
In 2009, Xavier Lafontan took advantage of his entrepreneurial experience at ELEMCA, a company expert in industrial reliability and created INTESENS. With the desire to extend this expertise in the field with connected objects to secure industrial processes: the idea was born.
The experience acquired with major rail and industrial customers such as ENEDIS, ENGIE, RTE, SNCF or EIFFAGE, has demonstrated the relevance of INTESENS solutions: business added value and returns on investment. Today, INTESENS is a trusted partner for these major accounts and innovative companies such as ETI and SMEs, and a privileged interlocutor for European maintenance companies. It supports them in the digital transformation of the maintenance professions.
Founding member of the IoT Valley and located near Toulouse, INTESENS is a major player in these ecosystems. The company has given itself the means to achieve its ambitions and has raised an amount of €1.3 million. This allowed it to accelerate the development of its innovative solutions and their deployment with major national and international industrial players, and a network of ETIs and SMEs at the forefront.
